Axiom's Sydney studio transformation was driven by our collective vision to create an inspiring workplace that truly reflects who we are, our culture, creativity, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

For years, we’ve focused on creating exceptional workplaces for our clients, while our own Sydney studio at 6 O’Connell Street remained largely unchanged. Despite its prime location, the space no longer supported our growing team, our progressive identity or the creativity we bring to every project.

It was time to reimagine our own workplace, not just as a place to work, but as a living example of our design philosophy.

We set out to design a space that elevates collaboration, transparency, and performance while fostering a deep sense of pride and connection among our team. This new environment not only embodies the design excellence we deliver to our clients but also sets a new benchmark for the workplaces of the future.

When Schindler Australia partnered with Axiom to design and deliver their new Sydney headquarters, their vision was clear: create a sophisticated, integrated workplace that would unify staff, reflect the global Schindler brand, and support long-term operational growth, all within a custom-built facility developed in partnership with Charter Hall.

When international law firm Ashurst set out to revitalise their Perth office, they envisioned a workplace that would embrace agility, support future growth, and reflect their reputation for global excellence—while also responding to the specific needs of their Western Australian team.

Qualitas, a prominent alternative real estate investment management firm in Australia, was faced with low office attendance and a workspace that no longer reflected its brand prestige. The former space was dark, cluttered, and disconnected—lacking natural light, functional breakout areas, and seamless client arrival experiences. With limited meeting space, outdated tech, and a layout that stifled collaboration, it fell short of the company’s high-performance standards. 

Qualitas engaged Axiom Workplaces to deliver a comprehensive workplace transformation—spanning strategy, interior design, and construction. They chose to relocate to a new office at the esteemed 101 Collins Street. The 1,130m² space on Level 41 required a complete fit out. The objective was to create a workspace that embodies Qualitas’ identity as high-performance investment managers, enabling agility, collaboration, and employee wellbeing.

At the heart of the transformation was Intelligent Innovation—a strategic design philosophy reflecting the organisation’s forward-looking culture and commitment to excellence. The new workplace was envisioned to:

• Energise people through dynamic, wellbeing-focused environments

• Strengthen proximity by enhancing team connection and spatial flow

• Support the ongoing pursuit of new opportunities with adaptable, future-ready spaces

This prestigious project has been recognised with the silver award at the Better Future Awards 2025 in Corporate Interior Design for the Melbourne Design Award 2025.

Bendelta, a consultancy specialising in strategy, psychology, and leadership development, needed a dynamic and adaptable workplace that supports their unique work methodology. Their vision was to create a multifunctional environment that enhances collaboration, creativity, and flexibility—without feeling like a traditional office.

Anglicare, one of Australia’s largest Christian care organisations, embarked on a significant workplace transformation to consolidate three office locations into a single centralised hub at MQX4, Macquarie Park. The new space aimed to create an environment that fosters connection, enhances employee wellbeing, and supports a hybrid working model with a 60% desk-sharing ratio.
