Axiom Showcase Kerwin Rae

The Brief

Kerwin Rae had a high-performance team that rapidly expanded, outgrowing their existing premises and seeking a relocation to Pyrmont. He wanted to develop and reward his team. They had a vibrant culture but not the environment to reflect that. This opportunity was capitalised on by addressing their collaboration spaces with the intent to further increase staff productivity. Also, Kerwin was adamant about improving lighting and colours in the new office.

The Outcome

Axiom provided creative solutions that met their brief. We understood the way each business unit functioned and the layouts, along with detailed axonometrics, reflect that.

Workstations were condensed, creating a large breakout area and a wellness space and a specialty room for Kerwin. As part of the reward for the team, the company hosts a lot of lunches and events, so it was important to provide a bench and storage space for caterers.

Also, since colour placement was very important, dark colours were used to be softer on the eye. All base building lights were likewise replaced with a specific colour palette.
