The Brief
Creating a different workflow to that of the existing L27/28 workplace design, yet maintain a community feel in the town hall space that was inviting and not disconnected from the ELMO HQ floor.Level 12 is specifically designed for the Research & Development teams, which require access to various internal huddle areas & plenty of whiteboard space for brainstorming & technical development.
The Outcome
The Axiom team made sure to keep a strong connection between the old floors and the new, so the staff recognise the similarities and felt at home. At the same time, Axiom aimed to differentiate the floors by introducing new design elements such as custom designed graphics, and a revised palette to the back of house areas to reinvigorate the workspace for the R&D team.
Additionally, the Axiom team focused on providing as many different kinds of meeting rooms as possible, as this was a key request in the design brief.
