At the heart of Australia’s logistics and supply chain technology, 1-Stop Connections Pty Ltd often referred to as 1stopconnection or simply 1stophas been leading the way in innovative solutions. With operations impacting shipping, ports, rail, and road transport, 1stop-connections has established itself as a true industry benchmark.

As the company grew, so did the need for a workplace that reflected its values and supported future growth. The challenge was clear: a disconnected team across three floors needed to come together under one roof. The solution? A purpose-built workspace in Sydney, created in partnership with Axiom Workplaces, that not only brought the team together but embodied the spirit of One Stop Connections in every design element.

From the initial design file to the final handover, the project was guided by the vision of 1-Stop Connections. We understood that every detail mattered from the physical structure to the message it conveyed. The use of continuous feature ropes throughout the space symbolised connection, one of the brand’s core values. These ropes anchored a central hub inspired by the 1-Stop design and logo visually representing the company’s circular and collaborative approach.

What makes this fit-out unique is how it tells the story of the brand. Using shipping container walls, we brought in elements that directly relate to the logistics environments that 1stop-connections solutions operate within. It was not just an office it was a statement of identity. This new layout allowed 1st stop team members to collaborate more effectively, improving both communication and productivity.

Known by various nameswhether it’s onestop connections, 1 stop Australia, or and one stop the brand’s identity remains strong across every touchpoint. The redesigned workplace is a true reflection of One Stop Connections’ commitment to innovation, customer service, and team unity.

By involving our project team from day one, we ensured that everything from concept to construction remained within scope, on time, and on budget. This level of involvement helped us align every feature with client expectations, ultimately delivering a workspace that supports business goals now and into the future.

The Brief

1-Stop Connections’ exponential growth over the past several years has brought a significant challenge in maintaining team connection. The workforce was disconnected due to the team being split across 3 intermittent floors. Their main objective was to bring the team together in a single floor to ensure cross-department collaboration & increased communication. This resulted in their decision to move to a unique refurbished building in Sydney.

Other challenges included:

  • Workplace not reflecting company values or representing the organisation’s vision
  • Timing & budget constraints

The Outcome

Axiom was engaged to assist in designing a workspace that reflected 1-Stop’s values of collaboration, innovation, customer focus & accountability.

Through thorough analysis of their values & vision, we were able to reflect these through various feature design elements. Connectivity was created through continuous feature ropes anchored throughout the office space. The 1-Stop logo & circle shape was used to create the central reception & innovation hub. The “Connection” feature ropes flowed from here to the various collaborative areas within the office. Shipping container walls were installed to provide connection to the software solutions end user.

The team also came together on a single floor to provide cross-department collaboration & increased communication.

Lastly, to guarantee designs were within budget, an Axiom project team was involved from the initial meeting to ensure client objectives were met and implement progressive budgeting.
