Delivering Consistency Across a National Office Network

Axiom Workplaces has partnered with Michael Page on multi-site fitouts throughout Australia, helping the global recruitment firm create a consistent and high-performing workplace experience across its office portfolio.

As one of the world's leading recruitment and talent advisory organisations, Michael Page requires workplaces that support collaboration, client engagement, and evolving ways of working, while maintaining a strong and recognisable brand presence across every location.

Over the course of the partnership, Axiom has delivered fitout and workplace transformation projects across several offices, working closely with Michael Page to implement workplace standards that align with the organisation's culture, operational requirements, and employee experience objectives. Each project has balanced national consistency with the unique needs of individual offices, ensuring a cohesive workplace identity while responding to local business requirements.

Through this multi-site office fitout program, Axiom has helped Michael Page create modern, flexible workplaces that support employee wellbeing, attract top talent, and provide a consistent experience for both staff and clients across Australia.

The ongoing relationship demonstrates Axiom's capability to successfully manage and deliver workplace projects across multiple locations, providing a single point of accountability while maintaining quality, efficiency, and brand consistency throughout a national office network.

Michael Page’s workplace was not optimised to support their new ways of working. The space did not welcome employees and visitors with the warm and open feeling Michael Page wanted to create.

Our task was to create a new workplace that encourages an agile way of working within teams and for individual focus. They asked us to reimagine a more welcoming arrivals area for employees and visitors. They also wanted a stronger focus on employee wellness and wellbeing.

We delivered a more comfortable, welcoming arrival space, that aligns with the Michael Page brand.

Moving into the workplace, a range of smaller interview rooms can also be used as agile focus work rooms for individuals or small teams. The desk area has been reimagined to introduce non-designated workstations, allowing flexibility throughout employees’ days and encouraging collaboration within teams, while remaining within their department’s ‘neighbourhood’. Hot desking promotes incidental collaboration and flexible working which leads to more face-to-face interactions and decision making.

The rest of the agile working space allows for informal meeting and collaboration zones, quiet rooms and open & closed booths to facilitate individual concentration as well as team focus sessions. The main boardroom can be opened to the social breakout space, used for both staff and client functions.

Various storage options have been included to give employees a sense of ownership over their space. Employees have individual storage units they can move throughout their day, and they can book a locker when they need one.

The inclusion of a new wellness room establishes a culture that encourages wellness among employees. It allows the opportunity for any employee to have peace and privacy when needed.

Michael Page’s new workplace is a welcoming, comfortable space that promotes connection and wellness, while facilitating collaboration and productivity.
